Oh my goodness. Amazing Wistful Winds Showcase.

Pinch me and wake me, the Wistful Winds showcase has started out with a bang. This past week has felt like a dream to see so many beautiful projects being made out of my Wistful Winds fabric range that I designed for Riley Blake Designs. I wanted to do a quick recap of last weeks amazing projects! We have one more week to go and I personally can’t wait to see what everyone creates.

First on the blog tour was Amy Sinibaldi from Nana Company. Everything she makes is out of pure love, and her style fits perfectly with creating something from Wistful Winds. I was so grateful for Amy in agreeing to sew something f0r the blog tour. I got to meet her at Quilt Market and she’s so sweet and amazingly talented! She made a quilt and pillow out of Wistful Winds. You can tell it was made out of love!

Next on the blog tour was Kristine Czepuryk from Pretty by Hand. She made the most beautiful strip quilt with Wistful Winds. I’ve been a long time fan of her’s! Everything she touches becomes something beautiful, and her blog is full of eye candy. I’m honored to have had her on the blog tour and can’t wait to meet her in real life someday! Kristine…. your quilt is beautiful.

Then Amanda from Jedi Craft Girl made the most beautiful quilt. Her intention was a dress, however her daughter said no way.. and wanted a quilt instead. Amanda made the most amazing quilt from scratch called Windy Girls. At Quilt Market we had the most amazing chat! If you ever get chance to meet her in real life, you need to take that opportunity!

I’ve known Amy Smart since I began designing fabric. She’s an amazing woman and when she made a baby quilt out of a tutorial she did on her blog, then sell it for a donation for her neighbor’s adoption makes me so happy! Amy get’s where my heart is and what this fabric line means to me. Now she has her own fabric line with Penny Rose Fabrics! Congrats Amy!

I met Meagan and Kristi at Quilt Market! Meags and Me had an adorable booth and knew I had to ask them to be apart of my blog tour for Wistful Winds. They have such a fun style that is whimsical, which is the perfect pairing for my new fabric range. They are sweet, because the extra fabric they had they made a quilt for charity!

Then you have Christine from Stitching Revival! She made the cutest bag from Noodlehead. It’s so stunning and I’m in love that she has a sweet bag to tote around with her! I’ve been able to hang out with Christine and she is the sweetest gal I know! She’s got a kind heart and love for everyone around her.

When Elea Lutz agreed to be on my blog tour I was thrilled! We finally got to meet at Quilt Market and I’m so happy that we got to meet! I can’t wait to get together with her again! I’ve been using her first fabric line in the 100 Day Blocks sew along on instgram and it’s going to be an adorable quilt. She made the cutest dress for a little friend she’s gifting it too! It’s darling!

Then my very famous Aussie friend Jodie from Vintage Ric Rac makes the cutest softies you have every seen! She is a fabric designer as well! If you haven’t seen her latest range you must! It’s got bunnies and is so yummy with vintage colors. I’m in love with what she created with Wistful Winds! She created this beautiful outfit for her doll hanger, she made a knitting bag and the buttons!

Sedef is another fabric designer from Riley Blake Designs. She has a new book coming out called, “Quilt Petite!” I will be participating on that blog tour and I’m so excited I already have my project picked out. She created one of her pillows with Wistful Winds. It’s absolutely gorgeous and her daughter has already claimed it. Sedef and I got to meet at Quilt Market. Our booth’s were right by each other. She’s such an amazing lady and grateful that we had the chance to meet in real life.

Then there is Jina from Jina Barney Designz! We have worked with each other since I started my fabric design journey at Riley Blake Designs. This was the last fabric collection we were able to work on together at Riley Blake Designs as Design Director. She knew where this line came from in my heart. She helped and encouraged my design since this was a difficult line to develop. You can tell by using her Butterfly Kisses Pattern that she sewed it with love and happiness for her beautiful granddaughter. I’m grateful for the journey we had together in developing this fabric range.

I’m so grateful for all of these ladies who have shared in celebrating my fabric line thus far! They have showcased Wistful Winds so beautifully! We do have a new week so please continue to follow and join in on the blog tour! Everyone has something amazing and special to share on the Wistful Winds showcase.

Keep following along!
