Gift Ideas for Quilters and Sewists!
I’m excited to share with you some fun sewing notions, tools, and must needed gifts for your favorite quilter and sewist. They can be the perfect under the tree gifts, and stocking stuffers that will make them “sew” happy!
First up is my Binding Babies™! They are the perfect notion to hold their favorite bindings, trims, ribbons, and embroidery floss! Binding Babies™ are not only useful they are so adorable to look at! She can be customized with different hair styles, hair accessories, and body color. Choose from a mini or medium size. Click here for details.
Second is Quilters Perfect Klips, they are amazing to use! The Klips come in several different colors. They sit flat when you are binding your quilt, it has a seam guide allowance, and they don’t hurt your hands when you need to unclip them for those who suffer from arthritis or hand fatigue. My favorite color is the red!
Third is the Oliso Iron Touch Iron. Every quilter needs a reliable iron to press their quilt blocks flat. Steam and Dry Iron uses iTouch Technology to Lower Itself when it Detects your Touch, then the Patented Scorchguards™ Lift the Iron Back up when you Let Go. Plus, the Iron Automatically Shuts Off if Left Untouched for 30 Minutes. No More Burns or Scorches – on You or Your Clothes!
Fourth is the Silhouette Cameo 3 it’s not only for scrapbooking or general crafting, you can cut out quilt blocks, quilt block templates, and appliqué cutouts. It’s the perfect companion to customize, all you need is an SVG, fabric, heat and bond and fabric cutting blade to make your favorite pillows, t-shirts, or quilts. You will also want to grab the extra blade pack for the fabric blade.
Fifth is the Fiskars 24 x 36″ Cutting Mat. I use this one, and I love how easy it is on the eyes when cutting. It’s the perfect rotary cutting mat!
Sixth is the Olfa rotating mat for all your english paper piecing and fussy cuts! I love how it spins when I’m cutting or trimming small blocks.
Seven is the Olfa 45 mm Rotary Cutter is a must have! Every quilter and sewist needs a strong blade to cut through layers of fabrics. Using this cutter is easy on the hands.
Eight is the Sewline Glue Pen. Every quilter needs glue, especially for those who love to English Paper Piece. You will want to grab the Sewline glue. It’s the perfect stocking Stuffer!
Nine is my favorite Gingher Stork Embroidery Scissors! For those who love to travel and sew, they are airplane approved! Makes it easier to get through airport security when you want to travel with small sewing projects!
Number ten is the Soak Flatter Pineapple Spray! It not only has a yummy scent on your fabric when you iron, it creates a nice flat starch to your material to make it easy for piecing quilts and sewing.
These are just a few ideas for your favorite Quilters and Sewists! Later this week I will be sharing more ideas to help you get into the christmas gift giving!
